To create this modern family fitted kitchen, we were required to work around a pillar at the centre of the room, allow free-flowing traffic for a young, tasteful and energetic family and ultimately provide accessibility to a range of utilities without offending the ambience prerequisite of an open plan scheme.
The solution employed the interaction of angular cabinets and diagonal walls to create pathways for smooth movement and also demanded the gentle integration of a sociable and practical island with the pillar.
White glossy cabinets, a coffee matt coloured island, Kashmir white granite and steel appliances all work together to create an inviting and personal kitchen space.
