In response to a highly sophisticated extension project, we were tasked with creating an elegant family kitchen with classical design features in response to the original architectural characteristics of the property.
With multiple cooking zones, ample storage and a collection of powerful appliances to work with, this open plan bespoke painted kitchen serves as a practical and dynamic family room.
The key here was to delegate space to enable ease of movement across various zones and allow for sitting by projecting the worksurface from the island. The design involved the creation of an extensive peninsular to soften the presence of a pillar between the lounge and the kitchen.
Most importantly, the island is situated right beneath the skylights, resulting in a bright and refreshing kitchen to behold.
