The brief was to create a visually stunning and compact modern kitchen in addition to a work-horse utility for a busy family.
The design solution is a radical transformation from the kitchen’s original layout as we focused our efforts on functional space planning and careful material selection.
We specified matt polymeric furniture on base units and a semi-glossy titanium finish on tall units. We laid led lighting along the edge of the worksurfaces, within the plinth and overhead-lights on tall units to welcome recreational cooking and entertainment within the kitchen area.
Light grey Corian worktops were selected for the island and a darker version of Corian was dedicated to the primary cooking zone, both surfaces fabricated with contrasting colours sandwiched in-between to create a unique and streamlined look.
All cooking appliances are by Neff while the extractor hood in black glass by Elica serves as a feature.
